Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week: Slaughter cows traded steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls traded 1.75 lower. Feeding cows traded steady to 2.00 lower. Replacement cattle and feeder cattle did not have enough comparisons to accurately trend. Trade activity and demand were moderate. Feeding cows previously reported as replacement stocker cattle will be graded and marked as return to feed in the slaughter cow section going forward. Dairy heifers being sent to feed will now be recorded with the feeder cattle. The next report available will be Thursday, May 6, 2021.
