Trade activity and demand was good. Today was the first special bred cow and slaughter cow sale of the season so there is no comparison for an accurate trend. The next bred cow and slaughter cow sale will be next Thursday October 22, 2026.

One sale is one barn on one day. The state ladder is every Colorado auction USDA reported that week, weighted by head — the fairer test of whether a lot sold well.
