Compared to last sale: Demand mostly moderate to good for light offerings. Market activity was mostly active with good buyer participation noted both ringside and over the internet. Dairy feeder steers under 300 lbs sold sharply higher, 300-399 lbs dairy steers sold steady to 10.00 higher, dairy steers 400-549 lbs sold 5.00-20.00 lower, steers over 550 lbs not well compared. Quality was mostly average. Beef on dairy steers sold unevenly, with lots of lots of variation in quality noted. Dairy heifers were too lightly tested to develop any market trend. Very light selection of heifers limited demand. Good demand was seen for heavy weight, fleshy offerings which will finish quickly. The next available report will be as receipts warrant coverage.
