Compared to last month: Dairy feeder steers under 450 lbs sold 20.00 to 30.00 higher, 450-550 lbs sold 7.00 to 15.00 higher, and comparable trades of steers over 550 sold firm. No comparison available for dairy heifers, due to the light test of the previous sale. Firm prices and good demand for Holstein and crossbred steers should be noted, with exceptional demand for steers under 600 lbs. Trade activity and demand was moderate to good for heifers. The next sale and report will be February 07, 2022.
