Compared to last week, with several offerings of weaned calves demand was good while demand was held back on unweaned calves partly due to a very hot weather forecasted for the next 10 days. Feeder steers sold $6.00 dollars higher, while feeder heifers sold $7.00 higher with a stronger demand on light weights. Slaughter cattle sold $6.00 lower on a lighter demand this week.
