Compared to last week, with a break in the hot weather, receipts were up this week, supported in part by a couple of herd sell-outs. Feeder steers 300lb-500lb sold $5.00-$10.00 higher, while 600lb-700lb steers saw even stronger gains, selling $10.00-$15.00 higher. Feeder heifers experienced slightly lighter demand compared to the previous week, with prices $5.00-$10.00 lower. Slaughter cattle sold steady on a good, consistent demand.
