SPECIAL NOTICE: A Replacement Cow and Bull Sale will be held on December 27th, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Compared to last week, feeder cattle receipts remained limited, which continues to be the prevailing trend across this region. Despite the lighter run, several quality feeder offerings were available, consisting primarily of unweaned cattle carrying moderate flesh, and demand remained strong. Lightweight steers and heifers weighing 300-500 lbs traded $20.00-$25.00 higher. Five-weight heifers sold mostly steady, while six-weight heifers sold $20.00 higher. Feeder steers weighing 500-600 lbs sold $15.00 higher. Demand for slaughter cattle was good, with prices selling steady to $5.00 higher.
