Compared to last week, there were not enough comparisons of un-weaned cattle this week to make a fair comparison to last weeks run of mostly un-weaned cattle. However, with a heavy supply of weaned and conditioned feeders today heifers and steers both were in strong demand with good buyer attendance and demand. Cattle under 600 lbs that were weaned and pre-conditioned were in the strongest demand with the light weight heifers and steers under 500 lbs looking to make the most gains. Slaughter cows and bulls were not reported due to time constraints.
