Compared to last week, feeder steers traded 2.00 to 9.00 higher with a good supply of quality weaned animals. Feeder heifers were mostly uneven to steady. Feeder bulls under 500 lbs were mostly steady, bulls over 500 lbs were 3.00 to 7.00 lower. Unweaned new crop cattle traded at a discount across all ranges. Slaughter cows were 2.00 to 5.00 lower, slaughter bulls traded 2.00 to 3.00 lower on limited comparisons to last week.
