Compared to last week, supply on feeders was up this week, with cattle futures also sharply higher. Feeder steers sold $10.00-$15.00 higher on a light test. Feeder heifers 400lb-600lb sold $15.00-$20.00 higher, while comparables on 3-weight heifers were too light to call a trend; they sold very bullish on a strong demand. Slaughter cattle sold steady, to $6.00 lower.
