There was a light supply of feeder cattle today. Due to lots of rain in the past week, the pastures are still very muddy. No trend was determined due to the sale not being reported last week, although there were some undertones on feeders today. With a downward turn on the feeder board over the last few days, the beginning of the sale demand was lighter. It became stronger toward the end of the sale with the feeder board making a little rebound at closing today. Slaughter cattle sold steady to $3.00 higher.
