Compared to last week: Feeder steers and bulls under 500 lb sold mostly steady. over 500 lb sold steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lb sold 5.00 to 8.00 lower, over 500 lb sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Several consignments of value added cattle were offered today selling at a 8.00 to 15.00 premium. Value added denotes cattle weaned at least 45 days, castrated with two rounds of preconditioning vaccines. Slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 4.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold mostly 5.00 lower.
